Insurance, Medicaid, and Payment Plans in Las Vegas

Cost should never be the reason a child waits for care. Nevada Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is a participating Nevada Medicaid provider for both children’s dentistry and orthodontics, we accept most major PPO dental and orthodontic plans, and we offer interest-free in-house payment plans for families paying out of pocket. Every new patient starts with a free consultation, and you will know your exact out-of-pocket cost in writing before you commit to anything.

Does Nevada Medicaid Pay for Braces?

Yes — for patients who qualify. Nevada Medicaid covers orthodontic treatment for children whose cases meet the state’s medical-necessity criteria, which are scored from an examination, photos, and X-rays rather than from appearance alone. Because we are a participating Medicaid provider for orthodontics, we perform that evaluation and prepare and submit the qualification paperwork for you at no charge. If your child qualifies, treatment is covered. If your child does not qualify, we will show you the interest-free payment plan options on the same visit so you still leave with a clear path forward.

Nevada Medicaid for Children’s Dental Care

We also accept Nevada Medicaid for routine pediatric dental care: exams, cleanings, fluoride, sealants, digital X-rays, fillings, and dental emergencies. Children with Medicaid coverage are seen in the same office, by the same team, with the same appointment availability as every other patient. We are also set up to care for children with special needs.

PPO Dental and Orthodontic Insurance

We accept most major PPO dental and orthodontic plans and we file your claims for you, so you are not left chasing reimbursement. Many dental plans include a separate lifetime orthodontic benefit that applies to braces and Invisalign for children and, on many plans, for adults as well — a benefit families often do not realize they have. In-House Payment Plans and CareCredit

No insurance, or a benefit that does not cover the full case? Most of our patients begin treatment with a low down payment and an interest-free monthly plan spread across the length of treatment, with the down payment and monthly amount adjusted to fit your budget. We also accept CareCredit for longer-term financing, and we take HSA and FSA funds, cash, and all major credit cards.

What Your Free Consultation Includes

Your first visit with our Las Vegas orthodontist is complimentary and includes a full clinical exam, digital photos, X-rays, a review of your treatment options, and a written treatment plan listing the total fee, what your insurance or Medicaid is expected to cover, and your exact monthly payment. There is no obligation and no pressure to start that day. The same applies to adult orthodontic consultations.
